Ruby Joan Hortin was born on September 2, 2009. She weighed 8 lbs 9 oz. She has spent the last 8 days in the NICU, but will be coming home soon (whenever she learns to eat well).
Ruby was very sick with Meconium Aspiration her first few days of her life. Luckily she is a fighter and a toughy so she is doing much bettter. If you would like more information about Meconium Aspiration you can go to:

She is so beautiful! I love her sweet little pink lips. I'm so glad to hear that she's doing better and can come home soon. We're praying for you several times a day and hope things just get better and better. Love you all.

Once again, I feel guilty for ever complaining about anything I had to go through. Hope she's recovering well. And you too. Looks like our kids were just a day apart. Kedrik isn't promised to anyone yet, so keep him in mind for Ruby.
