Yellowstone National Park

Matt recently accepted an offer with a new medical equipment company. He started at the begining of October. Before he left the old companywe took advantage of vacation time, so we decided to take a trip up to Yellowstone National Park. We loved it. It was a great time to go because it was not crowded and the weather was nice (sweaters at night and shorts and T-shirt during the day). Ruby especially enjoyed the water and rocks (big and little).
Ruby was pretty excited about all of these rocks.

I love pictures like this. There something about an old brick bridge surrounded by nature.

Watching Old Faithful.

Ruby's favorite water spot. We let her take her shoes off and walk around. She loved it.

Geysers in the back.

We so lots of wildlife. The Bison were the most common. We also saw elk, deer, fox, and a bear. We did not get a picture of the bear, but it was exciting.

There were lots of bison across the river.

Dinosaur Museum

We recently went to the dinosaur museum when some friends and my dad. The kids seemed to all enjoy it. Ruby's favorite parts seemed to be the areas she could climb on. We had a lot of fun with Liz and Joe and there two kids, Alyssa and Brooklyn, and my dad. Having my dad there reminded me why I grew up thinking museums were boring. He likes reading EVERYTHING. I lost him a couple of times because he was so far behind us. I love ya Dad.

Liz and Kelsey
There is a flying dinosaur right above Brayden and Ruby. I think Ruby enjoyed people watching more then the dinosaurs.
This was the most popular spot for kids. There is nothing like playing in water and sand.

The water dinosaurs. This is similar to a sea tortoise.

Dinosaur foot compared to Ruby's.

Brooklyn and Ruby. These two spend a lot of time together. They are a year and a day apart.

Ruby's 1st Birthday

Ruby had a great Birthday! She got a lot of books from her parents, Nana and Papa and Aunt Janny. She loves them. She also got some cloths and toys. Ruby was great at opening everything up. She also had a lot of visitors. My parents, Joe, Jerusha, Steven and there boys came down. the really came down for a BYU football game but they all arrived on her birthday. i will post pictures of the game later.
Aunt Janny with all the amazing books she got Ruby. She was a little excited about this truck.

the best present from Mom and Dad was the BYU football hat. I know, it's pink but it was the only hat Ruby would tolerant on her head.

Openening Cookie monster. She loves him. He is a great friend for long trips.
The Birthday Cake! I know my "Y" is back words or upside down but deal with it. Ruby looks pretty excited.

Happy Birthday Ruby!!! It has been a great first year. She is so much fun and is growing up so fast. Our little buddy.

Ruby struggled with eating the cake. She was a little confused. She is never this calm with her own food.

Hiking Timpanogos

The hike to timpanogos was fun but long. We hiked with some friends before they moved off to Cal. They view at the top was awesome, but this is the third time I have hiked it and it seems to get longer and longer. It was worth it and we did have fun with Todd and Haley.
At the restuarant at the top. At least that is what people tell you.

Haley expressing how we all felt.

Awesome view.

Grigg Family Reunion

The Grigg family reunion was at my parents this year. It was one week with 27 people in a small house. We loved it. There was a lot to do and the best part was there were enough kids to keep them all busy so the adults got to have some fun as well. Here are some pictures of my crazy family. We played a lot of volleyball. We were all sore by the end of the week.

Lots of games.
